In Cases de Son Barbassa we believe in the importance of making our own km 0 products. Among them, we find the almonds from our farm, which will later be used in our restaurant as an aperitif, enjoying a unique flavour of toasted almonds while having a drink, or, through exquisite dishes prepared by our chef, as the "gató d'amelltes" or our cone "Teja d'amelltes ". The almond trees have been growing in Mallorca for more than 2000 years since the Mediterranean climate is the one that best adapts to the almond tree needs.

The harvesting of the almonds is done from the end of August until the beginning of October. This task is developed manually, always trying the best possible conditions, thus avoiding lesions on the trees that can reduce the future quality of the fruits. Finally, the skin is separated and then the almond skin of the fruit, which will be used in the hotel. Almonds are rich in protein, antioxidants and provide you with the best quality energy.
