EXCURSIONS NEAR THE SEA IN CAPDEPERA

The town of Capdepera is located at the eastern part of the island of Mallorca, in the region of Llevant. The municipality is characterized mainly by its crystalline waters and also by its famous natural park that makes it a wonderful place for any type of tourist.

Route 1.1 Cala Mesquida - Cala Agulla

This route connects the emblematic beaches of Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla passing through the sand dunes and the “Coll de Marina”, being ideal to know the Mediterranean vegetation and its history. It is a low difficulty route of only 4km with a height of 76 meters and a duration of 1 hour. It is a walk among pine forests where mountain bikers, horsemen or athletes also attend. To return, we recommend you take the same path or leave a vehicle at the roundabout of Cala Agulla

Route 3 Cala Mesquida - Cala Torta

The second route that we suggest and that we also love, is the circular route from Cala Mesquida to Cala Torta. The excursion starts from a square at the end of the Cala Mesquida promenade, well signposted, and once there you must follow a slightly irregular and rocky road that borders the sea. To return, you should follow the path that goes towards Artà and before reaching the road you must take a signposted road to the left. That road will lead you to the roundabout of Cala Mesquida. The distance of the trecking is 5km, the duration is of 2 hours with a slope of approximately 100m and a medioum difficulty.

All these routes will allow you to explore our beaches and picturesque landscapes of our protected area. However, it is very important to remember that you should bring enough water and a cap for the journey and some food to take a short break in the middle of the path.
